About The Farm
Flores Flower Farm was established in 2024 in San Antonio, TX with the goal of growing and selling fresh cut flowers and herbs, small potted plants, and farm fresh eggs to our local community members. We are working towards official city status of "Urban Farm" which will allow us to host a farm stand and welcome visitors to see what we are growing and host private events. We are not open to the public. We can be found at local farmers markets. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more current updates.
About The Farmer
My name is Rachel Flores. My idea for the farm actually started during the first year of Covid, 2020, only I didn't know it then. This was the time when we were all forced to stay home. Like so many others, we spent more time outdoors and though I had already been a hobby gardener, I was now able to start doing this with my family and my children much more. We all started learning a lot more about insects, pollinators and host plants. And we were introduced for the first time to the Easter Black Swallowtail butterfly. From there my desire for more knowledge about raising butterflies grew. I also fell in love with being able to grow and cut my own flowers to use in vases for my home and to share with my family and friends. Then in 2023 we began a major remodel of our home, and I was once again staying home most days to oversee the project. It was then that I decided this was the perfect time to start building an official flower farm. Find more about that on Our Story page.

Farm Mission
Flores Flower Farm strives to provide sustainably grown flowers, herbs, and eggs to our local community. We hope to inspire you to support locally grown agriculture as we work on growing without the use of harmful chemicals and pesticides. We are building a space where we hope to welcome you and other guests to learn how to live off the land.
